Now you can start your business, or non-profit organization in Titulia. It will be called a Titulian Company.

Titulian companies must accept Titulian tollars for their products and services.

Titulian Companies are coprorations, with 100 shares. When you create a new company, you need to specify the initial owner. You, or the organization or company you represent will be the owner of 100% of the shares and you will be the first manager of the company. Shares can be transferred or sold.

The manager of the company is elected by the shareholders, and is not necessarily a shareholder himself. The manager is in charge of the website and the bank account of the company.

If you are a shareholder of a company, you can specify who you think the manager should be. The weight of your vote equals to the number of shares you own. When you specify a new candidate, the candidate receiving the relative majority of current votes becomes manager.

Companies may be created for any legal purpose (see the Terms & Conditions page for banned activities). If you wish, you can also create a local office of your real life company in Titulia. You are only allowed to do this if you have a controlling stake in that company, or have a written permission from somebody who has. You must be accepting Titulian tollars as a form of payment.

The website of your company can be created in two ways:

- You can edit the company home page within the Titulia website. This offers limited functionality - basically a simple text editor that you can use to create a page to describe your company, your products and services.

- You can develop and host your company website externally to the Titulia website yourself with any website hosting company of your choice. In this case the company website will be opened in a frame from the URL you specify.

Currently you can accept payments through the Pay this company link on the home page of your company. You can manually check completed payment transactions on the Bank of Titulia home page. In the future, we will be providing user authentication and payment APIs for real time integration purposes.
